Placing Photos in Your Website

Exercise - Class 6 Exercise 1

• Define Image Folder in Site Manager
• Place Image in website
• Experiment with "Alignment"
• Add a Border to your website
• Edit in photoshop and watch it "change" in dreamweaver
  • If photoshop is not setup as the editor, then change the editor options.
• Create a table cell that is bigger than your image, then put a background image in the cell.
• Now place your image in that cell, the goal is to get one image on top of anohter.
• Experiment with this idea.
• Create a Rollover Image
  • Find and image and edit it in photoshop until it is the size you want.
  • Then create the same photo, but modified it some how, invert or something like that.
  • Save both images in your image folder
  • In dream weaver Insert -> Image Object -> Rollover Image
  • Once you have it inserted save and view in a browser.
  • Then look at the code and see what it is doing.
